FAIRGROUNDS YOUTH GROUP

Leadership Training for Christ (LTC) is an organization designed to stimulate and encourage spiritual, mental, and social growth among young men and women in grades three through twelve. Its mission is to achieve this growth by developing skills in leadership, Bible knowledge, and Christian servanthood. 

The LTC convention is held each year on Friday and Saturday of Easter Weekend in Kanas City. Each participant earns a gold, silver, or bronze award in each event according to how well they meet a list of judging criteria.  Each event submission or performance is to focus on the convention theme.  Some events are individual, some are in teams.  Some events are completed at home, while others are performed at the convention. Students who may not be able to attend convention may still enter pre-convention and display events. There is no minimum number of events that must be met, but it is requested that participants complete at least 3 events to quality for a church sponsored registration and hotel assistance.
