PRE-CONVENTION CHALLENGES
Evangelism, 7th - 12th grades -- 4, 6, or 8 projects
Bible studies, mission trip, inviting visitors, visitor follow-up, door-knocking, VBS outreach
Keep prayer journal for 4, 8, or 10 weeks. Include praise, petitions, and answered prayers.
Memorize 10 to 70 scripture verses depending on grade. Multiple verses may be contained in a single passage.
Complete 6 to 12 service projects. May include cards, visits, chores, preparation, and others.
Complete 4 weeks as a teacher's helper / teacher in a Bible class. Must be 3 years older than students.
Boys 3rd - 12th grades. Lead worship in some of several categories including prayer, song leading, scripture reading, preaching, Lord's Supper, announcements, signing, and worship design.
Read scripture publicly in a variety of venues. 2-9 readings depending on age. Include an introduction of the reading 30 seconds or less.
